Reiki is a form of energy healing where the practitioner has an awareness of high vibrational energy and shares this with the recipient by placing their hands on the body or hovering their hands over the body. Reiki is the Japanese word for life-force energy and is a natural form of healing which was founded in the 20th century in Japan. It is based on the idea that the body does its own best healing when in this relaxed meditative state whilst reiki energy is allowed to flow.

In person reiki- Treatments held in person are at The Practice Rooms Reading. The treatment is an hour long and includes a short consultation at the beginning and end. You just need to wear comfortable clothing and remove your shoes and relax on the massage table whilst I perform the treatment by placing or hovering my hands on parts of your body to connect with your energy field. 

Distance reiki- Reiki healing can be performed from a distance! I arrange a time with you to perform the treatment. At the scheduled time I will call you to say I am ready and ask if you are ready. You can then hang up the phone and lay on your bed, and become relaxed as you receive the reiki. Then I will call you once I have finished to discuss how the treatment went. I can bring my awareness to the reiki energy and connect to your energy from a distance if you are in a relaxed state to receive the healing. 

Although reiki cannot bring any definite outcomes most people gain some benefit from it and find it really relaxing. Some known benefits of reiki are-
